Dare to Be Aware
Dare to Be Aware: My Mind, My Body
We are so excited to be offering education/programming around some very important topics. This fall, the Komen Chicago Associate Board is launching an educational pop-up series entitled: “Dare to Be Aware: My Mind, My Body.” The workshop looks to explore sexual and mental health in breast cancer (though much of the info is applicable outside of cancer as well). Our associate board’s goal is to highlight the younger generation of those affected by breast cancer and in so doing, tackle topics that we don’t talk enough about (sex, fertility, dating, etc). We have two expert clinicians to facilitate this sex/mental health event. We want to create a safe space where we can talk about these things candidly and our participants can walk away with valuable information.
